#5 of your Summer Smoothie Series
‘Peaches & Cream’
A delicious breakfast smoothie full of fiber, essential fats for the brain and heart as well as a smooth creamy texture that your tummy will love.
¾ – 1 cup milk of choice
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 Tb chia seeds
1/4 cup freshly squeezed OJ
1-2 Tb coconut yoghurt
1 peach, diced (TIP: leave the skin on for all that fiber and nutritional goodies, just remember to remove the seed)
1/2 frozen banana (optional to just add ice)
2 drops vanilla essence
Add first 5 ingredients to blender and let sit for 3-5 mins so the oats and chia soak up some liquid and are better digested in the body. (Use this time to pack your healthy lunch of the day or put your makeup on or even get a load of washing on) Then add all other ingredients and blend in a high speed blender. Enjoy!
