Stay Motivated!

Do you ever feel like you’re working out, staying active, eating right but you’re not really getting anywhere?

Frustrating right? You’re training hard, being focused, dedicated and committed and then after all your efforts you still don’t feel satisfied or feel like something isn’t working. I think we’ve all had moments like these… well I have anyway.

Especially as I’m always on the go – working full time, running Femme, and then working out everyday, eating well – sometimes I have felt like what I’m doing is never enough!

So what I’ve learnt and what I would like to share with you is that  the best thing you can do is focus on what you are doing not what you’re trying to achieve. All about that mindset again 😉

When you focus on the progress of what you are doing ie. warming up, stretching, your technique when working out you will feel more fulfilled and find it more enjoyable. WHY? Because your focusing on your actions that you are taking to get to your desired outcome and being in the present moment, allowing yourself to be in that state of flow. Connecting within is really the key!

If you find yourself feeling ‘stuck’ just know that you’re not the only one, and besides there’s always room for self improvement! Life is all about learning! You can always ask for assistance from those around you whether it’s a PT, family member or a friend – discuss where you’re at, what you’ve been training, or what their feedback might be, this may help with your performance and energise your confidence!
