‘Ginger Spice Tonic’
Ginger has an amazing cleansing effect on the digestive system and is great for reducing bloating and gas. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and when teamed back with cinnamon, another super spice known for assisting hormone regulation in the body it will give you a great health kick any time of the day.
Team this tonic back with your usual breakfast or is useful as a great pre- meal digestive drink.
¾ – 1 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon
1cm fresh ginger, grated or 1 tsp minced ginger
small handful of spinach or kale
¼ lemon, squeezed juice (optional)
Blend in a high speed blender
